Unglazed clay flower pot in the shape of an anatomical heart. Various flowers bloom out of the veins and arteries, as well as the main cavity carved out the top. Red flowers representing oxygen rich blood, blue representing oxygen poor, and purple and white flowers representing capillaries and white blood cells.

I have often used the form of the anatomial heart to teach myself various forms of sculpture, and allowed the process to encourage emotional discussions with myself.
